Sibling Bond
One of my biggest prayers in life is that my kiddos will always be close. That they will always have a great sibling bond.
I am one of 5 children. We have been through a lot. We have had our ups and downs. There are times we donβt agree at all on things. But no matter what I know my siblings will always be there for me. I know that if I need someone to turn to, I can go to one of them. When I am looking for an ear to listen or a wise word, they are there. I couldnβt imagine life without them.
And with that I have made sure to instill into my children not only the importance of family but the greatness of sibling bond. To not only be there for each other but to also lean on one another when needed.
Now that my son lives away it means the world to me to see them so close when they are all together. Hearing them conversate late at night in the kitchen. Dancing and being goof balls in the back seat while we are on our way to dinner. Hanging out, joking and laughing. All these make my heart smile!
I know that at this moment my prayers are answered but I will continue to pray that they will always remain this close!
