If you could visit/vaca anywhere in the world where would it be? 🗺️

My 2nd week in Paris and I am starting to get to know the layout. This week I actually went out sightseeing on my own. 🥰

Other notes from my 2nd week in Paris.

My sister in law took me to her Catholic Church service. I will say it has been years since I went to a Catholic service. And although I may not have understood the language (obviously it was in French) it was such a beautiful service.

There are at least 5 bakeries within a 5 min walking distance and the bread is amazing. 🥖

Also I made a Note to self: Carry an umbrella with you 24/7 in Paris! ☔️

I was out and about when the rain started pouring with no umbrella in hand or hat to wear. So I had to make do, and it did. LOL Definitely giving babushka vibes! 😆

In other news, how cute is this walking path. Just imagine full of green life. Come to find out they have quite a few of them throughout Paris! 🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️

I got to see this famous painting. Can you name the artist? Hint: the person in the painting is the artist. 👨‍🎨

And Of course we had to do a bit of shopping. I got to go to the Galleries Lafeyette. Shopping in this gorgeous building is just on another level!!! 🛍️

Worked up an appetite and there is no shortage of options. Literally 3 floors of options. decided on getting a little slice of home! 🍕

And guys, It's been less than two weeks and I am already starting to pick up on the newest fashion trends. What do you think of my steller hairdo straight from the world renowned Myra of Paris, France. 💁🏻‍♀️

Paris isn’t just all fun and games for me though.
In between all the vaca and family time I have been really working. I have been working on some admin things to get Boss Chic Lifestyle on track and set her up for success. I have also been working on myself alot. 👩🏻‍💻💪🏼💃🏻

Sometimes GOD puts you in places he knows you needed to be. And for me it is Paris. Boy am I blessed. 😇

We are in the last days of January. I have one question. How's your New Year's resolution going!! 🤭

To be honest I actually did not make any New Year's resolutions. I did however create goals and a vision board.

I feel like New Years Resolutions put so much pressure on us and we cut things off cold turkey or try to run hard for it that we land up failing. And once we fail we say "well I guess that's it" and we quit.

Whereas with when you fall off track of a goal you are more likely to dust yourself off and get back on track.

Honestly though, now that my kiddos are older I have plenty of time to relax....the problem is me now. I'm so used to constantly doing something that when I do relax my mind is thinking about what I could/should be doing. Any one else have the same problem. 😜

I have been slowly transforming my lifestyle into

I have been slowly transforming my lifestyle into a healthier one. I have been cutting out unhealthy drinks and food and replacing them with more conscious healthy options. It's not a diet but a lifestyle change for me.

I have been also getting more movement in my body. And honestly it's not so much about the number but more so about the feeling and being healthy. Being able to walk up a flight of stairs without gasping for air. Going to my annual check up without worrying about hearing the word diabetes (it runs in my family). To be able to live a longer healthier life and one day run around the yard with my grandchildren with no hesitation.

Don't get me wrong, the number helps, but I don't want to be a certain weight. I want to feel better, function better and live a healthier better lifestyle.
