This Lemon Body Scrub screams summer!

Spring is here and summer is right around the corner. Time to refresh your wardrobe and your skin. Healthy glowing skin is no problem with this DIY Lemon Body Scrub. And the natural fragrance from the lemon screams summertime!

You can whip up this body scrub in no time and the best part is you probably have most if not all the 3 ingredients on hand.

Seriously though this DIY Lemon Body Scrub is so easy to make. I think the hardest part is zesting the lemon to be honest.

Use this body scrub once a week to help exfoliate and remove dead skin, revealing fresh glowing skin after. FYI, yes this is a body scrub but I would steer away from using it on your face. The skin on our face tends to be more sensitive and sugar in the scrub could be a little too abrasive for it.

Well let’s get into it, shall we!

DIY Lemon Body Scrub

Ingredients:

1 cup Sugar
½ cup Coconut OIl
1 Juicy Lemon

Start by zesting the lemon. Once you have zested the whole lemon, cut it in half and juice it. I love using an old school glass juicer like this one. I feel like it really gets every drop from the lemon. Want one of your own? You can snag it here.

DIY Lemon Body Scrub - Stirring together ingredients

Next combine all ingredients, sugar, coconut oil, lemon juice and zest into a bowl. Mix together well.

And viola you have your own Lemon Body scrub. I told you it was so easy to make.

Use right away or store in an airtight container and keep below 77 degrees Fahrenheit for later use.
